This place is a gem in the Mexico City neighborhood of Cuauhtemoc! The service was attentive and friendly, the mezcal margaritas so good that we had to have two, and the food was incredible. We had the enchilada plate with three different moles, the chorizo and cheese tacos and flan for dessert. Each mole was better than the one before! Highly recommend.

We were looking specifically for mole when we found this place, and it was perfect. They have three kinds of mole, and they provided a sample of each before we ordered. We picked the two moles we wanted, and picked the meat that we wanted to have them on, one pork and one red snapper. The meals were delicious, and so were the chips and salsas. We ordered two cocktails, and they were mixed at the table by our server. He seemed to be a very professional bartender as well as being an excellent, attentive, friendly server. We loved this place, and would definitely go back again.
Martin & Esteban are great!!! They make you feel at home! The place is beautiful, cozy and clean, Food is something else!!!! Authentic Oaxaca’s food !!! This is a great restaurant that has all you expect to get!!!
We just got back from Oaxaca and needed a bit more. Craved breakfast and found del barro. We got the eggs and chorizo enchiladas, a tortilla soup, and the eggs with salsa and beans. Enchiladas were incredible. Highly recommend.
A authentic Mexican restaurant in the heart of the fancy financial sector. We stumbled across this treat and went three times. Mexican food is under rated cuisine and the waiters and waitress pay you a lot attention. Each time I was treated to a new dish. Why eat pizza when you can have delicious Mexican food? Marisol and Karla were super helpful, I would seek it out as it’s worth the effort
The food was delicious and our server Martin was very nice and gave us excellent recommendations. The hostess was also really friendly and helpful
